This year, I opted to paint my living room walls black as many of you know. But sometimes that just doesn't quench my thirst for deep colored walls. I love painting walls deep, dark and moody. Thankfully, my sister moved into the same building as me, just a few floors away. So, being the adventurous and playful spirit that she is, she wanted deep rich walls too and she opted for a moody blue.
With Benjamin Moore's announcement of Shadow as the color of the year, we were inspired by the moody and mysterious vibes of blues, blacks, deep magentas, amethyst. All the darkest shades of beautiful jewel tones. For 2017, luxurious and rich colors will be glamorously moody. Think velvets, tufted pieces, layers and lots of greenery. Plants make the best pop of beautiful green you can find. The best part, it goes with any decor and any style.
