Sending a big hello from New Orleans. We just arrived to our hotel and I really really really miss my baby. It’s my first time leaving Roman over night and I don’t even know what to do with myself. So, I wanted to pop in and share somethings I have been thinking about recently. . .think of this as a weekend update.
First of all, my tree. I am so in love with it. It was important to me to have a beautiful Christmas tree for Roman to look at and remember (in photos of course). I kept things all mercury glass, white and silver for a cohesive look. I also recently added this beautiful silver ribbon throughout the tree to add a pop and it is stunning. It doesn’t do it justice in the picture, at night it just sparkles!
If you notice on the left, we have a few paint swatches on the wall. I am in love with all of the Clare paint things. They have the paint samples with sticky backs so you can temporarily have them on the wall, to see what they look like from day to night. Our only problem is agreeing on a color.
I am a huge believer in working on your inner world, so that your outer world will be radiant! I love how @aglassofbovino styled up her book situation here. When you step up your life in every area, your overall well being will reflect that. So, this weekend, you may want to join me and work on your self with some beautiful self improvement books.

Also, and this is for my Austinites, I went to one of my design projects, Muse Med Spa in Austin, Texas to get a peel because I am dying to get these sun spots off of my face. My skin should be peeling this weekend so I will have some free time. Skin care has always been so important to me and now that I am 37, I think its time to take some extra care of the skin on my face and I am thinking no more sun.

I've also been asked about 3 trillion times about decorating a home office with Glam Shui. So I definitely will be doing this but for now, I wanted to share something I read about creating your dream home office. It's so important that you have a dreamy work space, so that you create your BEST work. That is one of the biggest tips for success.
