I'm currently working on a bedroom redo for a virtual design client. When I work with my clients, I always work to pull inspiration from their favorite travels, hotel experiences, etc. This couple wants to create a beautiful guest bedroom suite that reminds them of Fall in Paris yet with a more modern approach because the rest of the home is modern glam.
Who doesn't love Paris? I definitely luuurve working with a Parisian influence in my design work.
I love the velvet taupe tufted headboard. It's affordable and its a beautiful color. With this gorgeous chandelier, it will have a softer more feminine side of the Parisian inspired room. Don't forget to pair that with a ceiling medallion. I love beautiful white bedding with a champagne color trim, its all about the details. This chevron rug will give the room a more lived in look, like not too fancy. Then you can add in some beautiful nightstands like this one to really step up the modern glam look. For this particular bedroom, there isn't enough room for 2 so on the other side, you can place a smaller table, like this chic chain link table. X stools for the end of the bed are great for guests. I am obsessed with these gorgeous pillows. You want to put a big and beautiful table lamp for night time reading for guests, I know I love to read myself to sleep when I'm staying somewhere other than my own home. Why not have a big Louis Vuitton book for your guests to read through? I also love this little box with pyrite, some good crystal energy never hurt anybody, right?
