This is the shift everything else builds on.

At some point, successful bloggers stop asking, “What do I feel like writing today?”
and start asking, “What question can I answer?”

Because blogging that makes money isn’t about documenting your hobbies — it’s about helping someone move from confusion to clarity.

When you write:

• how to do something step by step (like this one)

• how to fix or improve something

• how to make a decision

• how to get a result

you’re not just creating content — you’re creating relief.

And relief is powerful.

Problem-solving content does three incredibly important things at once:

1. It brings in new readers through search (because people are actively looking for answers)

2. It builds trust and authority (because you helped them)

3. It naturally leads toward paid solutions (because once someone trusts you, they want more help from you)

This is also why readers come back.

They don’t just think, “That was a nice post.”

But neither of them build peace-of-mind income.

Shift #3: Decide Early That Your Blog Is Allowed to Support You — and Learn How That Happens

This shift is both practical and emotional.

Yes — your blog is allowed to make money.
But more than that, you need to understand how blogs actually make money so you can build toward it intentionally.

There are many beautiful, aligned ways a blog can support you financially:

• Affiliate links
  Recommending tools, products, or resources you genuinely use and love

• Display ads
  Earning income simply from traffic (especially powerful once your blog grows)

• Courses and digital products
  Teaching what you know in a structured, scalable way

• Services
  Coaching, consulting, design, writing, readings, or done-for-you work

When you start researching these pathways early — instead of waiting until you feel “ready” — your content becomes more focused.

You start seeing your blog as a bridge:
from free help → to deeper support.

And that shift alone can completely change how confident you feel showing up.

Shift #4: Write Like a Guide, Not Just a Creator

This is the shift I see most bloggers overlook.

Wildly successful bloggers don’t just share — they guide.

They anticipate questions.
They explain things clearly.
They connect the dots for the reader.

Instead of:

“Here’s what I did.”

They write:

“Here’s how you can do this too.”

This is where your blog stops being a diary and starts becoming a resource.

And when they feel safe, they trust you.

Subscribers into buyers.
Buyers into long-term supporters of your work.

Shift #5: Choose One Focus — and Go Deeper Than Anyone Else

For example:
If you blog about parenting and you want to write about newborns, don’t just list a few tips.

Write the most thorough, helpful, compassionate guide imaginable:

• what’s optional vs essential

Are you looking to manifest and attract more wealth into your life using Feng Shui? Perfect. This post is going to break down the secrets behind the money corner of your home and how you can activate it.

Ever heard of Feng Shui? It's like a magical art that can bring positivity and prosperity into your life, through the art of spiritual and intuitive decoration in your home. And luckily for you, my friend…I am obsessed with all things Feng Shui and we’re going to talk about it.

Today I want to teach you how to activate the Wealth Corner of your home aka the money corner because we all could use a little bit of extra money flow, am I right?

First, let me give you a little peek at my wealth corner…I filled my money corner with all the things (and most of my plants) I’ve listed in this blog post, keep reading for the juice.

HOW TO FIND the Feng Shui Wealth Corner?

In Feng Shui, your home is divided into nine energy sectors (commonly called the ‘bagua’, each area of the bagua is associated with different aspects of your life. I explain how to work with the bagua here.

The Wealth Corner, also known as the Prosperity or Money Corner, is located in the southeast area of your home or a specific room. I like to explain it like this, go to your front door and stand as if you are about to walk through the entrance. When standing at the entrance of the home (or room), pick up your left hand and point to the furthest upper left area of your home from where you are standing. That’s the money corner.

Activating this corner can help enhance your financial prosperity, but it's more than just stacking up dollar bills; it's about inviting abundance in all aspects of life and making sure the energy of harmony flows throughout your home.

🧭 How to Find Your Money Corner Room by Room

Your home’s main money corner sets the overall tone for wealth energy. But did you know you can also apply the Bagua Map to individual rooms?

• Whole House: Stand at your front door facing in; the farthest back left area is your primary wealth corner.

• Individual Room: Stand at the room’s entrance; the farthest back left corner is the mini money corner for that space.

Which should you focus on?
Start with the main home wealth corner, then boost key rooms like your living room and bedroom for extra financial luck.

Tricky layouts:

• If your corner is missing due to an L-shape or odd floor plan, symbolically “complete” it with a mirror, light, or a vibrant plant just outside where the corner would be.

• If the corner is cluttered, clear it immediately — clutter blocks chi (energy flow).

04 | Front door water fountain - In Feng Shui, water fountains are highly valued for their ability to attract positive energy, specifically chi, which is believed to enhance health, wealth, and overall well-being. The flowing water symbolizes the continuous flow of prosperity and good luck, and the sound of the water can be calming and promote relaxation. 

05 | Crystal sun catcher - Suncatchers help to clear out and shift the energy in our home, they help move us out of stuck-ness. I like to keep my suncatcher in my wealth corner at home.

06 | Jade elephant figure - Elephants with the trunks facing upwards to represent prosperity, good luck, and success. Protection, good luck, wisdom, and fertility are the main feng shui energies brought by the symbol of the elephant into any space, be it home or office

07 | Green Jade Money Tree - Placing it in the southeast corner of your home or office, or on a desk's wealth corner, is thought to enhance its money-attracting properties.

How to acTIVATE and decorate your Feng Shui money corner for manifesting more abundance & wealth:

Step 1. Declutter your money corner

First things first - declutter! A cluttered space blocks the flow of energy and abundance. In the wealth area of your home, incorporating decor elements that support organization and tidiness, such as decorative baskets and bins or storage solutions, will help keep clutter at bay and maintain a sense of calm and spaciousness.

Go through your Wealth Corner and clear out anything you no longer need. Remember, out with the old, in with the new!

Step 2: Remove any negative images or symbols that block the flow of wealth.

Negative symbols can dampen the positive energy of abundance and prosperity that you're trying to cultivate in your home. Remember, Feng Shui is about creating a harmonious environment that supports positive energy flow. By avoiding these images associated with negativity or stagnation, you will free up space for abundance energy to flow in.

Here are a few you want to remove from your money corner asap:

1. Broken Objects: Broken or damaged objects can represent stagnation or decline in finances.

2. Barren Landscapes: Images of dry or barren landscapes may symbolize lack of growth and opportunity, which can hinder the flow of wealth energy.

3. Empty Vases: Empty vases or vessels can signify a lack of sustenance and abundance. It's better to display vases with fresh flowers or fruits.

4. Dead plants or flowers: this can symbolize a dried up financial status or dead business.

5. Low vibe Books: books with topics on debt or saving money keep you stuck in that energy. Surround yourself with books on growing your wealth.

6. Clutter: Cluttered or chaotic spaces can reflect disarray in your life, including your finances. Especially mail, you don’t want stacks of unopened mail or bills. Keep your environment organized and clutter-free.

Step 3: Add in Earthy elements for prosperity

The Wealth Corner is associated with the Wood element. The Wood element represents wealth, family, health, and prosperity. To activate the wood element energy, you want to introduce Earth and Water elements into the space.

You can do this by decorating this space with…

• earthy colors like brown and green

• or by adding a small indoor fountain. These elements harmonize with the Wood element and promote wealth and abundance.

🎨 Best Colors and Elements for Wealth Energy

To truly energize your wealth corner, decorate it mindfully using supportive colors and elements:

✅ Colors:

• Purple — the traditional wealth color in Feng Shui.

• Green — symbolizing growth and vitality.

• Gold — for richness and abundance.

✅ Elements:

• Wood — furniture or decor made of natural wood promotes growth.

• Water — gently moving water (like a small fountain or an aquarium) symbolizes flowing wealth.

• Living plants — lush, healthy plants amplify vibrant, prosperous chi.

Step 4: Keep It Thriving with Plants

Living plants symbolize growth and vitality. You can add healthy green plants to your Wealth Corner to infuse your space with positive energy and prosperity.

I have filled my wealth corner with my favorite indoor plants and I am sure to always keep them thriving and growing so that my wealth energy is always expanding.

Plants that are especially helpful in this area:

• A money tree (a symbol of wealth and prosperity)

• A lucky bamboo plant (8 stalks represents wealth)

• The Rubber Plant (Ficus Elastica) attracts wealth, prosperity, and good luck.

Step 5: Keep it lit 🔥 💡

This is our bliss

When it comes to activating your money corner, lighting plays a crucial role, especially if you have plants. My money corner gets lots of natural light so I have a rattan floor light that lights up my plants at night.

To keep the energy flowing, you want to make sure to keep your money corner well-lit with natural light and artificial sources such as lamps, plug in floor lamps, chandeliers, or ceiling lights. By incorporating the right home decor style, you can create a harmonious and prosperous space that supports your financial goals.

Step 6: Use Mirrors

This might be my favorite tip of all because I absolutely love mirrors. Mirrors energetically move energy and not only do they expand the space of the room, they also expand the energy of whatever it reflects.

So, mirrors can actually be used to double your wealth energy.

However, make sure you don't place a mirror where it reflects clutter or anything negative. Instead, position it to reflect something beautiful, like an image of abundance or all of your beautiful plants.

You can create an environment where your home not only reflects your impeccable taste but also acts as a powerful attractor for the energy of abundance. Imagine walking into a space that not only looks great but also feels like it's radiating wealth, success and good fortune.

🌼 Seasonal Money Corner Refresh

Energize your money corner to align with the seasons:

🌸 Spring: Deep clean, open windows, and add fresh flowers.
☀️ Summer: Use bright flowers, fresh water in your fountain, and keep plants hydrated.
🍂 Fall: Decorate with gold accents and warm wood tones.
❄️ Winter: Add cozy lighting, candles, and perhaps a touch of festive gold or evergreen decor.
