Decorating Inspiration: Shay Mitchell from Pretty Little Liars

I've never really watched the show Pretty Little Liars but I am totally crushing on Shay Mitchell's LA home. Designed by Consort, its a beautiful mix of glamorous and bohemian. Take a look into this pretty little home. . .

I especially love her home office. Probably my favorite room in any home actually. Here, black looks so elegant and chic. Pairing abstract black and white art works anywhere. 

I am so in love with how dark this room is. Deep walls and a green sofa. Delicious. Which leads perfectly off to this chic little bar room. How glam is that brass and glass bar situation? Ugh. Just so good. The vintage looking floral wallpaper was such a rockin' choice in my opinion. 

I love how in the main areas they kept it pretty clean with all white, pops of black and blush pink. Such a beautifully chic and tailored combination, no?

Decorating inspiration: Deep Moody Teal and Blush Pink

This year, I opted to paint my living room walls black as many of you know. But sometimes that just doesn't quench my thirst for deep colored walls. I love painting walls deep, dark and moody. Thankfully, my sister moved into the same building as me, just a few floors away. So, being the adventurous and playful spirit that she is, she wanted deep rich walls too and she opted for a moody blue. 

With Benjamin Moore's announcement of Shadow as the color of the year, we were inspired by the moody and mysterious vibes of blues, blacks, deep magentas, amethyst. All the darkest shades of beautiful jewel tones. For 2017, luxurious and rich colors will be glamorously moody. Think velvets, tufted pieces, layers and lots of greenery. Plants make the best pop of beautiful green you can find. The best part, it goes with any decor and any style.
