Feng Shui: Decorating with wood elements

Now that it is officially Fall and the back to school season is in full effect, its time to really focus in on making the rest of the year, the best of the year. I've moved into my new place which means I am in total decorating mode. I'm being so inspired to change everything that surrounds me. It's always exciting for me to have a new style, a fresh start and an opportunity to change up the energy and environment where I do life.

This Fall, I really want to concentrate on purposefully adding elements into my space so that I am operating at an optimal level. I am looking forward to fresh ideas, creativity and new opportunities to bloom. I've been doing a lot of virtual design lately and I have really been focused on adding beautiful wood elements to the spaces. Wood is always so grounding and makes you feel at home, fast.

You also want to bring the energy of the wood element when you need a breakthrough, when your vision seems unclear or your energy is low or scattered. You especially want grounding wood around you when you want to strengthen your health and encourage the energy of abundance. It also brings vibrant health and vitality!

Currently, I am loving a wood dining table because it is the center of the home where health and relationships are enhanced. You can surround your wood table with glamorous elements to keep your home beautiful and elegant. The best ways to incorporate the wood element aside from furniture is through color and furniture & decor items.

The best shape to get the most out of the element is a rectangle, so a dining table like this would really be perfect. You can also implement this shape by using a desk in your home office. Add some glamorous elements to make it feel cozy and chic.

The wood element is also best expressed in colors green and brown so why not add beautiful healthy plants, too?!

A great look is also wood built ins. I'm absolutely obsessed with this room.

Here are a few things to incorporate in your home. . .
