COUTURE + COLOUR: Seductive Siilver

Happy Wednesday lovely readers! Morgan here bringing you some of my favorite silver items for this week's Couture + Colour!! Hope you're making it through the week just fine before the big holiday!
1. I couldn't love this image any more than I pink lips, Chanel bag, tight metallic silver pants and a fur jacket!! I think by her pose she knows she's fabulous. She's so long hair and money.
2. I love a lot of Tom Dixon's products (that's why I was freaking out on the inside when I met him at ICFF) so it's hard to pick a favorite but I have been admiring his Bulb Chandelier, it has the right element of funk to it which I can always appreciate.
3. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before my love for antlers. This silver pair is perfection,  it's a great way to glam up a rustic look.
4. On a trip in Munich, I walked past a store front covered in silver metallic mesh tiles, LOVED it.
My tip: cover your fireplace, store front, wall, entry or any flat surface with the shiny tiles!
5. Say hello to my dream coffee tables by artist Erik Levy!! These babies are so amazing but their price not so much. They are super spendy but give the perfect amount of shine...oh, I'll never stop dreaming.
6. Some may find this shiny silver hallway odd but I find it so beautiful! Plus the neon diamond light (another obsession for me) is so unique!
7. This silver ornate cabinet comes from another company I dream about owning pieces from...Jimmie Martin! Their products all have a very glam/punk/rebel vibe to each of them, but they are dramatic in their own right, so I can't help but adore it. I discovered this company from one of my favorite designers Abigail Ahern (love her funky style)!

Now you know a little bit more about me and the items that melt my heart! I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week and holiday!! Hope you enjoyed this week's Couture + Colour!
Until next week...XoXo

tablescape Tuesday: centerpiece creativity

For me, the key to success with a dinner party is....
I just love to be inspired by unique and different looks for the decor on the table. Flowers are always beautiful of course, but adding something unique to the center of a tabletop can be a great conversation starter!
Candles always provide seriously romantic lighting and a beautiful glow on a budget!
Discoballs aren't just for holidays...they can be the perfect accessory for a girls night dinner party.

needing. wanting. loving. {mixing metallics}

Oh I am so very in love with the gorgeousness of mixes of silver + gold...
Nothing looks quite more put together than mixed metallics. I truly believe that the art of the mix is the best part. Mixing highs and lows, patterns and prints, furs and's all so very fun to do. I encourage all of you to never shy away from mixing silver and gold. Metallics are very in style and can compliment even the drab-est of decor styles.

quite glamorous, no?

In the Hamptons today and will be at the Designer Showhouse...make sure to follow me on Facebook for the fabulous photos!

needing. wanting. loving. {metallic earthy glamour}

Talk about love at first sight. This gorgeous Sequoia console from Zgallerie has literally taken my breath away. I want it immediately if not sooner. Gorgeous and glamorous and earthy...this console has got some serious soul. It's every bit the eclectic glamour that I feel is my personal look. This is essential for my new apartment, it has me thinking of a whole new decor scheme. I got it bad for this boy.

bliss in the kitch' ...delicious cream + dreamy gold

As much as I love learning all of these fabulous restaurants in NYC, I long for those days of hanging out in the kitchen and whipping up a fabulous dinner. How gorgeous is this all white kitchen with mixtures of gold and stainless steel? I never thought they would work together, but in this kitchen they totally do. It's parisian chic at its best and the small inset bookcase doesn't hurt either.

office space of the day...fabulously black and brass

black walls + gold accents + gorgeous lucite desk + faded blue rug + brown leather chairs =
domestic bliss

So, I don't think I could ever get enough of dark black walls. Every single time I see a black room, I am stunned by the beauty of it. Is it odd that I mostly have black in my closet too? I love black...its classic, simple, elegant, edgy, and it goes with everything!

fashion meets decor {holiday decor in metallics}

sparkly and gorgeous metallic christian louboutins
sparkly and gorgeous metallic christmas decor...
this holiday season I am all about your design shimmer! In fact, I'm kind of obsessed with you.
Decorating in metallics (golds + silvers) for the holidays is a fantastic way to add
all kinds of glamour to your dwelling. I'm all about it, so chic.

currently inspired by...the sparkle & the shine

The weekend has just flown by and I have been bustling around this city I've barely even noticed.There was soiree after soiree, lots of celebrating the launch of my new website, and friends from Texas in town.
One thing I've noticed is that everywhere in LA, the sparkle and the shine, are out in full force. Glossy chandeliers in restaurants, sparkling dresses on many a angeleno, glimmering nail polish colors and glistening candle light. This perfect LA weekend has me totally inspired!

when gloss and sparkle are paired together...the effect is effortlessly glamorous!

the Art of Living...decorating with silver + gold

Remember when I asked you guys if you preferred silver or gold?
Well, it got me thinking...
and I quickly realized that if you love both (much like I do) you can mix them together
to create a hip and different look.
It brings a little excitement and something out of the ordinary to the space.
I don't know what it is or why it is, but in these photos, I am loving the appeal.
