TUESDAY TABLESCAPE... Tory Burch dresses the table + the hues of blue

Who doesn't love Tory Burch? I love her style so much that I completely trust her taste on all accounts.
How adorable is this first table setting designed the fashionista herself?
Hints of different shades of blue make it oh so blissful.

I spent the weekend in San Diego with my mom and my love. We had such a fun time hanging out together and everywhere we went the oceans color of blue just kept taking my breath away.
So, in honor of my beachy blue weekend here are some gorgeous tablescaping ideas in hues of blue...
enjoy!

Celeb Home Tour: Ashley Tisdale for Instyle Mag June 2010

Have you guys picked up the new copy of Instyle?
Woah! Loads of goodness inside.
It may just be me but this weekend when I got my copy I opened straight to the back section where they usually have celebrity homes, food, interior decor tips, etc.
I was happily surprised to find the adorable Ashley Tisdale's Los Angeles hideaway featured.
I think I am in love.

Here she is pictured in her closet...I always luuuv celebrity closets, the clothes are to die for!
the pink ottoman had me at HELLO!
Her bedroom is so peaceful + serene, the blues just take my breath away.
I would die for her poolside cabana + pool. I want one!
Can you spot the Zgallerie Casablanca Lanterns? I am obsessed with them.
that little pup's face + the louis vuitton trunk coffee table = domestic bliss

building your dream home...a Los Angeles design love story

Jamie Adler, daughter of Phyllis Morris (an LA design powerhouse) and now CEO of her mothers company, lives in this beautiful Los Angeles home nested in the beautiful hills of beverly. She and her husband and business partner, John, redesign the entire place...from what seems to have not been a dream home.
How fun does that sound? Renovating an ordinary home into your dream home with your husband?
And it happens to be on the same block as her parents home...i love idea keeping close to the family.
The 4,000 square foot home has hints of glamour, modern touches, quirky art and is full of love!
I am absolutely smitten with her style, she must get it from her mamma.
here is Jamie in her master bedroom, how adorable + stylish is she?

art + room and office space of the day {kelly wearstler}

In this June's issue of Instyle Kelly Wearstler opens up about her office space...
"My office space feels so festive-the artwork by Lana Gomez pulls it all together. It's like an outfit that you put on and think, Wow, that looks great!"
(I'm was thrilled to find out who the artist is, because I have been dying to check out her work.)

domino magazine called it: decorator Daniel M. Pafford

Remember back when Domino mag named the 'domino 10'...
 {the one with Drew Barrymore's office on the cover}
where they named 10 decorators to keep your eyes on.
Well, whatever Domino said, I paid attention.
Daniel M. Pafford was one of the 10 mentioned and I recently cyber-stalked his work.
Hello fantastic East 37th Street apartment!
I am smitten with this place and now I am smitten with his style.
The textures, colors and fabrics...very domino, very decorista
enjoy.

Zgallerie on the regular...bright orange + black and white stripes

1I know...I have a problem.
My local Zgallerie is right next door to my local Starbucks.
Not a good combination, as both are high on my list of weaknesses.
Today, I had to go in (at least it's Friday) because this huge black and white striped outdoor canopy called my name, very loudly. I had to go in.
How perfect is this? I need a pool pronto!
I am loving the bright orange colors all around the store...
and how could you not fall for these adorable boot umbrella stands?
or this gorgeous peacock serving tray.
love. love. love.

Decorista Trend Spotting: adding whimsy to your interior decor with birdcages

I spotted this photo and fell absolutely head over heels for these amazing oversized chairs.
How lovely are the fabrics and the details? love.
I noticed a sweet birdcage perfectly placed by her feet, and I thought to myself 'howadorable'
For me, it made the photo that much more delightful to see.
It was then that I realized that birdcages can do so much for a setting or a room,
a little bit of charm. So very Anthropologie.

bliss in the kitch' {an Austin Artists' Abode}

This post is a shout out to my hometown, Austin, Tx. I love you Austin!
Photographer Dave Mead resides here in this vintage, country, and retro adorable home with his gorgeous wife and son. The best way to describe his style...ECLECTIC.
I am blown away by the uber cool style, quirky + artistic pieces of art and how that much wood isn't making me want to vomit.
It's very similar to 'Loz Feliz chic' here in Los Angeles, I can totally dig it.

Decorista Trend Spotting: Bubble Chandelier + DIY

This gorgeous bathroom was featured on KDID during her trip to the
San Francisco Decorator showcase (so wish i could have been there)
and with my recent obsession/fascination with lighting...i thought i'd go ahead and share.
Isn't she lovely?
I think it all started at the Gramercy Hotel lobby in NYC.
This is why I LOVE hotel design, whatever the trend they make it perfection.
Want to learn how to make your very own?
Check out my sweet friend Alison and her DIY tutorial...her creation blew me away!

i'm crushing on... beautiful pendant lamps

Ever since I found Tori Spelling's beautiful kitchen I cannot stop obsessing over
beautiful pendant lamps in the kitchen/dining areas.
Lighting is a huge design basic, but I don't spend nearly as much time adoring them as I should.
These are super glamorous yet industrial chic looking...I just can't get enough.
love.

The Art of Living...decorate like Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City 2

The gorgeous Carrie Bradshaw.
always among the most beautiful spaces and places, isn't she?
I am smitten with this gorgeous and glam hallway...and one small accent caught my eye.
beautiful + whimsical butterflies...
I love the way they dance in some of the most beautiful interiors.
I am also smitten with this goodness...Zgallerie always has the goods.
