Pretty in PINK...a perfectly wallpapered living room

Good morning my lovely Decoristas! I loved all of the feedback on the wallpaper I love...thanks so much! After that post, my adorable reader Jackie sent me these photos of her living room, I fell instantly. So bright and cheerful, I love the way aqua blue just makes a space so happy. I also love how she just used dramatic wallpaper on one wall, which is a clever and easy thing to do. Have any of you guys tried using wallpaper in your home?

The Decorista TV: an e-decorating solution


I had to share this genius idea with you all. One of my new e-decorating clients made this adorable video  to show me, in detail, her Brooklyn apartment. How cute is she?
I love this video idea and hoping that for all my future projects we can incorporate a video like this.





So far with Becky, we have decided that we are going to paint her entire apartment a very light shade of blue, so it will be like a beautiful jewel box in the heart of Brooklyn. Benjamin Moore Antiguan Sky is one of my all time favorite shades of blue. Just wait till you guys see the final product, It is sure to be fantastic. I promise to post pics soon.

I'm thrilled to be starting off this week with a delightful treat for all of you who love color!
David Collins shares his home of fabulous proportions and colors.
Blues, purples and greens are the foundation of the color story...so very cool and relaxing.
He throws in uber modern gems yet keeps a traditional wit about the home.
I think its gorgeous and very, very well done.
 I have always loved the modern look of open staircases like these.

sweet dining room inspiration

In complete adoration of this lovely little dining room nook in Jessica's apartment.
The beautiful + happy shade of blue on the walls is so fun. Throw in all white glossy painted furniture with bright + colorful books and accessories and you have yourself a perfectly posh little entertaining space. I also happen to adore the styled coffee table sitting above a gorgeous zebra rug.
