office space of the day...west elm infused home tour

fab white desk + plush office chair + gorgeous big lamp + zebra tray + horsie art =
domestic bliss

Oh that Lonny magazine just never gets old to me...the latest issue is absolutely fabulous. My favorite space is the space of Angel Dormer, West Elm's Style Manager. Her Manhattan apartment caught my eye at first sight (especially her super hip office space). It's stylish, playful and full of vintage style that would make any girl swoon. Totally based on 60's decor, she nails that modern/chic california vibe that I have always adored.

Take a moment with me and revel in her marvelous decor style.

birthday magic...

Wow. I can't believe its my 30th birthday. I am beyond excited for this fabulous year.
Lots of surprises to share with you and super exciting things to come!
I'm so thankful for God who has given me so many blessings and I am more excited than ever for it to finally be here. Yay!
I so wish you could all be in Miami to celebrate with me...how fun would that be?
At least for now, put on your dancing shoes tonight and celebrate with me!
I'll be rocking my new birthday tiara...and dancing the night away...
A big thank you to all of you who have sent me birthday wishes already! I'm having so much fun reading them. I feel like we are celebrating together.
xoxo

Bienvenido a Miami... and Welcome The Webster

It's finally here, the beginning of my 3-0 birthday extravaganza and we are celebrating in the gorgeous and fabulous (and one of my favorite cities)...Miami
Our first stop, The Webster, an extremely chic 20,000 square foot luxury multi-brand boutique located in the heart of Miami Beach, in a historical Art Deco building designed in 1939 by famed architect Henry Hohauser. Lately the Art Deco, 30's inspired look is all I can think about. I always love to see the way retail stores merchandised and design, so as you can imagine I am just dying to see this amazing store. With a gorgeous restaurant inside, we might just spend all day.
Who doesn't love shopping and brunch...am I right?

secret of domestic bliss #42...MIRRORED PERFECTION

Creatively using mirrors can be the ultimate decorating tool for your home. Mirrors can work a variety of wonders for your dwelling space. For example, a perfectly placed mirrored screen can soften a harsh or unsightly corner. Mirrors can also add architectural style and influence, in addition, an oversized mirror can brighten up the darkest of spaces. Take a look at the gorgeous dining room below with an oversized mirror set behind the table...the light looks breathtaking, don't you think?

wallcolor wednesday... metallic love

Right now I am completely crushing on the seductiveness of this metallic wallpaper. I am loving this delicious silver rope print covering these gorgeous closet walls. I have a huge crush on metallic wallpaper right now.
Oh so glamorous and absolutely do-able in your home. Go for a small closet, entryway or bathroom.
How perfect is this metallic toile? I adore the teal green color pattern most of all.
I'm also fond of sweet metallic prints as well... a floral print has just stolen my heart.

Decorating for friends...meet dallas shaw

Meet my friend Dallas Shaw, a super stylish and extremely talented fashion artist + blogger. Since we have been blogging friends, I have always imagined what her office must look like. If I was her designer, there are a few different ways I would decorate her space...
Here is one style for her I could totally imagine,

Style-icious Sunday {sophisticated birthday elegance}

sophistication.... elegance... femininity...
are everything I want to feel this coming week because its my birthday week and I'm turning the big 3-0!
I am absolutely so excited about this birthday and the coming year. My best girlfriends and I are heading down to Miami to luxuriate in the beauty of palm trees and tanning lotion. We love to play and shop on Lincoln and the Miami design district is always a fun treat. Facials, pedicures, and lounging in robes is our mission. It makes me appreciate all of the elements of sophisticated style that I want to experience this year. Ooh la la.
So in love with all things elegant and feminine....
