inspired spaces {a turquoise-a-licious patio}
It's so bright and sunny here today and I am completely inspired by this bloggers'
california patio featured on apartment therapy.
If you love turquoise as much as I do, you will love the way she incorporates the color on the floors and on the ceiling. Such a happy little place.
I would love to curl up with some coffee and a good book here.
What do you guys think????

the Art of Living....dining with gorgeous lighting
Today, I am more than grateful for everything in my life.
Lately I have been reminded just how short life is, and I don't want to ever miss out on that joy!
I am also praying for our country and the oil spill, its astounding what is going on.
So I just want to take a moment to thank God for every blessing,
especially you lovely readers who make my days so bright!
What would I do without you????
Speaking of bright...
I am spending today on the hunt for some amazing dining room lighting and I am needing inspiration.
Modern, bright, unique and over-sized light fixtures are all up in my mood.
I can spend hours gazing at the wonders of vintage light fixtures.
This place has great sources...I can barely pry myself away from the site.
I,of course, think Ron + Jaime always knock it out of the park!

gorgeous, glamorous and green
Everything about this photo is how I am feeling today.
Sunshine-y happiness and beautiful greenery is all around me here in LA.
I love a beautiful mirrored vanity and lucite chair pairing.
Green and white botanical wallpaper, green lamps and a glossy black door.
All of these gorgeous elements are domestic bliss to me!
a House Beautiful as ever! {manhattan apartment love}
Have you guys seen the lastest issue of House Beautiful?
I cannot get over the cover + the gorgeous NYC apartment that graces it.
Lots of color (as i'm sure you can guess) is my favorite, I literally get some serious pleasure looking at homes with extremely bold color palates. It warms my soul and feeds my eyes to see such goodness.
This gorgeous pink wallpaper is amazing! Chinoiserie, hello, i love you!
Oh, and of course all of the purple in this space....sigh.

The Decorista: What's on
- I was reminded that pink will never go unloved, this girls room shows why. I am just smitten with all of the gold accents. It makes me want a nursery to decorate stat!
- I just cannot get over Olivia Palermo's dress that she wore in Paris...so fabulous!
- I am seriously addicted to Robert Pattinson and am determined to see Eclipse as many times as I can...anyone want to go to the movies??? Sigh!
- I am just absolutely hooked on Love Taylor...a blog by Rachel Zoe's old assistant. so cute! I just love her bags, shoes, style and we share a similar love for Chanel. I mean, come on, who doesn't love Coco Chanel? If you haven't seen Coco before Chanel, you must see now!
- I am inspired by everything about this room, especially the green boxes. I love being organized and I am in a green mood this week! Maybe its the fact that the greens are so pretty in LA this time of year.

such an extraordinary space done by the lovely and talented
Betsey Burnham.
This woman has serious talent and an incredible eye. She revived her daughter Carson's space with some serious style + pizazz. I love how she used snakeskin in little bits of the bedroom and bath.
The little eiffel towers and union jacks get me everytime!
love.

secret of domestic bliss #27... a glamorous wall of mirrors
I have decided that I need one of these mirrored screens in my world.
It's absolutely gorgeous and it reminded me of a very smart interior decor trick.
If you are looking to add big impact to a small space...just add mirrors.
It can do wonders for your home.
If you need to create more light, or add an illusion of more room in your small abode...
adding a wall of mirrors is the ultimate trick.
Layering mirrors works wonders too and can completely bring up your glamour factor!
Whether it be your closet, bathroom, bedroom, living room or kitchen,
add a wall of mirrors to the space and watch the magic unveil!
This mirrored console against this wall of mirrors just completely does it for me! love.

Dear Decorista, {a west elm bed dilemma}
Dear Decorista,
Hi there!
First things first, I absolutely love your blog! You have no idea how excited I get when I arrive at your blog and see a new post!
I know that you're incredibly busy probably don't do this often, but as I sit here looking through your blog for some sort of inspiration to make up my mind on a large furniture purchase, I was wondering if I could get your opinion?
If you don't mind, could you recommend which bed you'd pick from West Elm?
All my best,
City Girl Amanda
City Girl,
Thank you so much for being a reader. I love love love hearing that!
I think West Elm beds are all gorgeous but here are my favorites and why I think they would look great in your bedroom. (which is gorgeous by the way...i LOVE the artwork!)
I really love the nailhead trim of this gray headboard. It's uber tailored and chic looking. I think the gray would go very well with the yellow bedding + fab artwork!
I also really love the cozy look of this grasscloth headboard. It would warm up the room a bit and give your bedroom a warmer feel...like it would make you just wanna snuggle up in bed with a good book.
Readers, what do you guys think??? Are there any west elm beds you would recommend?
office space of the day... {mrs. Table Tonic, my blog bestie}
If Sydney, Australia wasn't a 14 hour plane ride I would visit all the time.
Not only is it my favorite city in the world, but one of my blog besties lives there.
Louise, Mrs. Table Tonic and I became bff at first blog-sight!
i love her and her fabulous little home office.
sooo May-jah!
